Happy Independence Day Weekend!

At least if you’re in the US, hehe. Some quick notes:

–I’ve joined a translation group! Details will be released on Wednesday TUESDAY NIGHT, 10:00pm EST (UTC -5:00) to coincide with the announcement there, but suffice to say all releases of Falling Dreams of Fang Hua will be on their site. However, I will still be the story’s primary/only translator. 😉 All Novelupdates links for Ch. 25 and beyond will direct to their site.

EDIT: For the commenter who requested to translate my translations into Spanish, you’re still more than welcome to do so! Although I recommend you check out my final edits of all chapters when they go live on the other site. 😉

–I’ve finished translating everything before Ch. 30! Chapter 29 was actually a three-part chapter that I condensed into part 1 and part 2. Now I’m taking a break to edit some old chapters for typos. Hopefully, between me and some helpful editors, I can make everything read even more smoothly for past/present/future releases.

–I’ve been skimming ahead to check for plot points/consistency! And it looks like for some reason, the web novel doesn’t have title names for a lot of the chapters in Book 2 (which starts at Ch. 35). The published version of the light novel does, but it’s organized differently…if I can’t match up those chapter names with the web novel ones, I’m going to leave them as numbers.

I’m excited about some of the upcoming plot developments in Books 2 and 3. We’re going to be experiencing a shift in locations, scenarios, character development…let’s just say there’s plenty to laugh, ponder, and maybe cry over. Some of the early chapters definitely set up information for the later ones…

All in all, the 80 chapters (*cough* add inflation for ones broken up into multiple parts) of Falling Dreams of Fang Hua promise to be an engaging and fulfilling journey. I hope you can all join me until the end. ^-^
